Sultan Dè’s sound is raw and unfiltered, yet it includes touches of sophisticated soul as well as moody, folk-inspired guitar notes.
Our algorithm led us to Sultan Dè, and we’re glad it did. This rising talent is already working hard to share his creative work with the world. He’s had the opportunity to open for artists like Jordan Ward and Alan Vuong, and has written alongside Tiara Thomas. While he’s already making moves within the scene, he continues to shape his sound, aiming to connect with listeners on a deeper level and express his passion for creating art.
The sound of this USA-based artist can be described as raw and unfiltered, yet it includes touches of sophisticated soul as well as moody, folk-inspired guitar notes. At times, it feels like you’re listening to Brent Faiyaz–esque melodies; at others, you’re pulled into an indie folk universe. This diverse palette of inspirations creates a sound that stands out from the crowd.
His lyrics are honest and straightforward, clear and confrontational, delivering his message in a vulnerable way. This is especially evident in his latest album before I was, a culmination of two years of learning, growth, and discovery.
Tracks like Underthinking showcase his ability to experiment with different sonic aesthetics, while I Already Know delivers that classic moody alt-R&B vibe.
