KLAV is reshaping herself as an artist, and it’s working beautifully.
As a female music producer and multi-instrumentalist, the Jakarta-based KLAV has been active in the scene for a while, mostly collaborating with others. Now, she’s focusing on building her own sound and identity, think jazz-like grooves, electric piano, and subtle, perfectly fitting percussion.
She just released Bloom, her first project after embarking on this new creative journey. It’s a balanced mix of jazz, soul, and ambient music, with a soft and soothing aesthetic. This is exactly what she is aiming for as an artist, exploring her evolving identity as a solo musician and making music that feels aligned with her inner voice.
Through the sounds of her instruments, she tells a story about how growth can happen in softness and stillness, immersing the listener in a universe where calmness creates space for reflection.
